GSBS Medical Trust had organised the Cancer detection camp for Men on Saturday the 2nd of August. This screening camp for men above 50 years of age is held regularly towards the detection & awareness of prostrate cancer, lung cancer and oral cancer.

The patients came in the morning by 8 a.m. and started the 3 stages of check-up. It started with PSA blood test, Chest X-Ray, ENT checkup by Dr. Ashwin Kumar Gaikwad and the final Surgeon check-up was done by Dr. Jitendra Sakhrani. All the patients were extremely happy as there was no waiting period and the doctors patiently answered all the queries.

It was a happy occasion for the Medical Trust to meet up with the Donor Ms. Manjiri Pai of Inmar Engineering Company. Ms. Pai had kind words to say about the Staff of the Centre and she appreciated the Camp being conducted as public service activity by the doctors.

Smt. Gita Pai, Secretary profusely thanked Ms. Manjiri Pai and said how encouraging it is to have the donor at the time of the camp.
