On 4th February 2023, the occasion of World Cancer Day, GSBS Medical Trust conducted Cancer Awareness workshops in Unit 1 of the centre and at the Health Rakshak centre, in Dadar.

Dr. Meenakshi Desai along with Dr. Afshan Lahenji, President of IDA, Mumbai Branch gave information about the adverse effects of Tobacco consumption and explained the holistic approach of the Trust’s Tobacco de-addiction program Angarakshak.
