At the start of this year, GSBS Medical Trust had taken the resolve to conduct more kinds of medical camps and on a more frequent basis, especially after the overall decline in immunity in the citizens post Covid.
May 3rd was World Asthma Day, and this month being Asthma Awareness month, the Trust took the decision of conducting its second respiratory camp at its centre in Mahim known as the J. N. Wadia Charitable Dispensary.

A total of 15 patients attended this Respiratory camp which was conducted on Sunday, the 22nd of May 2022. The copies of their Spirometry readings were given to these patients for a further follow-up with their respective family physicians. As an alternative, they were also suggested the option of consulting with the Trust’s experienced physicians/doctors.

We thank the doctors and the staff for dedicating their valuable time towards this cause. Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition which can sometimes be life-threatening, but it can be controlled. It is important that we spread this awareness and break myths surrounding this condition. The Trust aims to conduct more such camps in the future.
