Healthy Baby Contest 2024 conducted successfully at the 70th GSB Ganeshotsav at Wadala
As per tradition of the last 50 years, GSBS Medical Trust was happy to organise a Healthy Baby Contest, this time for children up to the age of 5. This programme was organised during the Ganeshotsav, as part of the ten day festival at Wadala Mutt. This programme was open for all, irrespective of caste and community.
On Sunday, the 15th of September 2024, the enthusiastic parents with the children thronged the venue to consult the various doctors; to get their children examined by the various paediatricians. The parents were enthusiastic to consult these experts in the upbringing of their children. It was amazing to see the patience with which the doctors were dealing with the children and parents.
Dr. Suhas Prabhu, Dr. Pranjal Sathe Kale, Dr. Swarali Joshi and Dr. Avinash Desai, all paediatricians were the judging doctors and other doctors did the examination of all the children. There were more than 60 participants!
This programme was sponsored by Mrs. Aditi Kare Panandikar of Indoco Remedies and the Chief guest for the prize distribution was Dr. Ajit Gunjikar. His advice to parents was well received. Mr. Sameer Daini from Indoco was also invited for the programme.
Volunteers from Wadala Mutt, ladies from GSBS Mahila Shakha and GSBS Medical Trust’s staff members did a fantastic job in organising the entire programme. Dr. Suhas Prabhu, the President of the GSBS Medical Trust welcomed the audience, Dr. Pradeep Acharya introduced the guest doctors, and Smt. Gita R. Pai (Trustee & Secretary of GSBS Medical Trust) compered the program and proposed a vote of thanks. All doctors and guests
were taken for Ganapati darshan which was appreciated by all.
