Golden Jubilee Celebrations – GSBS Medical Trust turns 50!
GSBS Medical Trust has completed 50 years of Golden service to the citizens of Mumbai with the minimum charges and the best health care services. The Trustees of GSBS Medical Centre organised a get together of Donors on Sunday, the 3rd of December at VOWS Kohinoor Hotel, thanks to the sponsorship of Mr. Mukund Kamat, the Vice president of the Hotel. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Also, thanks to the support of Sri Ganesh Shanbhag, a delightful, memorable music recital by Padmashri Padmaja Phenany Joglekar was organised. The audience were enthralled and there was a standing ovation with a thunderous applause.

Dr. Suhas Prabhu, the President of the Trust welcomed the audience and gave the history of the
Medical Trust, its progress in the past 50 years and how the dream of Founder Trustees is getting fulfilled.
He concluded his speech with a strong message that as GSBs, we must uplift not just other GSBs, but ALL citizens of the nation irrespective of caste or religion, and help each other succeed in all walks of life, while also contributing to the growth of the nation. The Medical Trust has been a torchbearer in this aspect.
Chief guests Smt. Vijaya Kamath & Sri Vivek Kamath were introduced by Smt. Gita R.Pai and were honoured by Dr. Suhas Prabhu.
Smt. Vijaya Kamath – IT entrepreneur, Founder & Director of TTH Consultants and also the CEO of Sansorise Smart Solutions is a role model for the younger generation.
Sri Vivek Kamath, Managing director of Abbott India holds global experience in the pharmaceutical field. Mr. Kamath lauded the services of the Trust and talked about how different health & healthcare was, 50 years earlier.

Three doctors were honoured by the chief guests for completing 25 years of dedicated service to the Medical Trust. Dr. Deepak Govekar, orthopaedic consultant, Dr. Kedar Parulkar, ophthalmologist & Dr. Sarita Asava, general physician. Dr. Meenakshi Desai (Trustee) introduced them & explained their services at the Centre.
Sri. Anant Pai proposed a vote of thanks to all those who had supported the Medical Trust and added that without their support, it would not have been possible to celebrate in such a memorable style.
