GSBS Medical Trust had its monthly Camp on Men’s cancer detection which took place on Saturday the 11th of April. This camp is conducted towards the screening of Prostate cancer, Lung Cancer and Oral Cancer. As is the practice, only 24 patients were registered and the camp started by 8.30 morning.

The doctor Ashwin Kumar does all required checkups Ear , Nose and throat. Blood test is done for PSA prostate cancer. Chest X-Ray is done for further detection of Cancer. Dr. Ritesh Dalvi does the reporting . Dr. Kaushik R. does the full surgeon check-up.

After getting the results of all the above tests, reporting is done by Dr. Sandhya Kamath, General Physician . Thereafter, the reports are sent to all participating patients.

The sponsor of this camp was Ms. Soona Shroff in the memory of her late parents Mrs. Viloo Shroff & Mr. M. R. Shroff. On behalf of the donor, Mrs. Niloufer and Master Arman were present. Mrs. Gita Pai took them around the centre. They were delighted to meet some of the patients and the Staff members. They were full of praise for them and made more enquiries about the Center and its activities.

Mrs. Pai thanked them for taking some time off to come to the Centre. And thanked for sponsoring the camp.
