As in the post in the series of Women’s Cancer Detection Camps, one more was held on 9th March 2026. A total of 24 patients registered. The camp which started at 8.30 in the morning concluded by 4.30 in the evening on the 9th of March 2026. This camp is held regularly for the detection and screening of Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer and Oral Cancer.

It was a well planned camp. The registration was done a week in advance and the participants were given appointments to come to GSBS Medical Trust’s Health Rakshak centre where all relevant doctors and medical equipment was ready. According to the planning, a group of 2 to 3 patients were asked to come according to the patients’ convenience, so that there is no waiting period for the patients. All patients’ dental checkup was done by Dr. Kavita E, Dr. Seema Kashyap & Dr. Pratik Satpute. Gynaecology checkup was done by Dr. Nutan Pai, Dr. Bhagyashree Jain & Dr. Mira Naik. All Mammography was done by the technicians and the final report was given by sonologists Dr. Gauri Amonkar & Dr. Ritesh Dalvi.

The Sponsor of the Program was GSB Sabha and the present lady representatives on behalf of the Sabha were Smt. Amita Kini, Dr. Anita Shenoy and Ms. Priyanka Pai. The Supervisor Ms. Neeta took them around the centre and explained more about the equipment. Smt. Gita R Pai thanked them for sponsoring the camp to commemorate World Women’s day. It was a delightful moment for all the staff members of Health Rakshak to get involved in this camp and the visiting ladies appreciated their efforts.
