GSBS conducted the 21st successful Cancer Detection Camp for Women above the age of 40 on the 10th of July, 2023 at its Health Rakshak centre. In the series of Cancer detection camps held by GSBS Medical Trust, this camp has a special significance as it was held under the name of Trust’s Founder Trustee, Dr. V. R. Prabhu and was sponsored by his family.

This camp, which is conducted for the detection & awareness of Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer and Oral Cancer, started from 8 in the morning and went on till 5 in the evening. It registered 25 patients, who were called in batches. For the oral check up , Dr. Vikas Gupta, Dr. Swati Satpute and Dr. Pratik Sarpute attended to the patients.

Gynaecological tests and consultation were attended to by Dr. Deepali Prabhat, Dr. Shonir Pai and Dr. Swapnali Malkar. Dr. Ritesh Dalvi, radiologist attended to all these patients.

Mrs. and Mr. Jagannath Prabhu of the Sponsor / Donor’s family visited the Health Rakshak centre.
Dr. Sandhya Kamath, Trustee, welcomed and thanked the donors.
