GSBS Medical Trust conducted the women’s camp for the benefit of Cancer detection & awareness for ladies above the age of 40. It was the first cancer camp held in the new year, and the eighteenth Women’s Cancer Camp conducted so far, by the Trust. This camp is conducted every alternate month by the Trust for the detection and awareness of breast cancer, cervical cancer and oral cancer.

The women who registered were called by appointment and so, they did not have to wait in line. Each patient had to complete all the 4 stages within 2 hours viz. the dental checkup, gynaecological check up, Pap smear test and mammography.
This camp was sponsored by Mr. Gopal Krishnan in the memory of his near and dear ones.

Dentists Dr. Pratik Satpute, Dr. Vikas Gupta and Dr.Ameya Pai

Patients were educated in this subject. Even the method of self examination was taught.
Interested patients were also taken around the centre. We are grateful to all the doctors, staff and the sponsor who made this camp a success.
