GSBS Medical trust held its annual Medical Camp at Dharavi on Sunday, the 25th of February 2024.
A total of 126 citizens from the area attended this camp. The camp, which was free for citizens, was sponsored by Smt. Bharati Kamath, a generous donor who has been supporting many good causes.

Blood pressure, random blood sugar, dental checkup, orthopaedic checkup, ophthalmic checkup,
dermatology, counseling for tobacco cessation were the various helps given for he patients. It was
heartening to see that the citizens of had awareness on health issues and lined up in big
numbers well before the camp started.

It was admirable that all the doctors had enough patience to answer the queries of patients.
Ms. Sampada Bait, the supervisor of the Dharavi GSBS Medical Centre did most of the
organising work including the co-ordination between doctors and patients. Some of the social
workers of the area were happy to co-operate in organising this camp.
