13th December 2025 was once again GSBS Medical Trust’s Cancer detection camp for the men. This camp is held regularly towards the detection and awareness of prostate cancer, lung cancer and oral cancer in men above 50 years of age.

The check up started in the morning at 8 a.m., as most men were employed professionals. The first stage was the oral check up. Then the patients had to see the ENT doctor which was very important. Then they got the X-Ray done of the chest. With these reports, the patient has a check up with the surgeon which is the final stage. Once the blood analysis for PSA done, the final report is ready to be given to the Patient the next day.

All the patients were happy to get the check up done systematically. Special thanks were given to Dr. Nitin Gupta for ENT check up and to Dr. Rahul Satiya for the surgeon checkup. Ms. Neela Shenvi, the sponsor of the program was an added success to the program. She met the patients, staff members and appreciated the work being done at the centre.

Smt. Gita Pai, thanked Ms. Shenvi more for her presence. Every time there is a need, Ms. Shenvi has supported the Trust with sponsorship and with donations.
