Makar Sankranti is a festival which is celebrated across the country in different grandeur. GSB
Medical Trust employees have the liberty to celebrate the occasion by exchanging greetings and Haldi
Kumkum on any day during the month of Pousha. Dr. Niranjani Nayak was invited on the 2nd of February as the chief guest for the occasion. It was a happy occasion as a delicious lunch was enjoyed together.

GSBS Medical Trust has a special cell called Angarakshak which deals with tobacco cessation. Psychologist of the Medical Trust Ms. Shruti Madgaonkar deals with such patients and one such patient is Mr.
Rushikesh Kamat who is now completely out of his tobacco addiction (consent of patient taken). This had to be celebrated. He was called to the Centre during this Sankranti celebration and was honoured with a certificate of de-addiction and congratulated by all.
