Healthy Baby Contest 2023 Conducted Successfully
It has been a tradition for the GSB Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav at Wadala Mutt (Ram Mandir) to invite the GSBS Medical Trust to hold a Healthy baby Competition during Ganesh Festival. This year, the programme took place on Sunday, the 24th of September. The Medical Trust enjoyed this public service activity, as it involved so many people to make it a successful programme.
The chief guest for the prize distribution event was Mr. Samir Daini, The Sr. General manager of Indoco
Remedies, a reputed pharmaceutical Company who has been sponsoring this activity for more than
2 decades. Mr. Daini congratulated all participating children’s parents and said that as this is the Golden
Jubilee Year of the Medical Trust, they would like to further bond the relationship by supporting Newer
activities of the Centre.
Dr. Suhas Prabhu, President of the GSBS Medical Trust welcomed the audience and briefly told them about the activities of the Medical Centre. He also told them about the New Rehabilitation centre which would be
shortly opening in Mahim.
The judges for the competition were Dr. Suhas Prabhu, and Dr. K. C. Patra, Paediatricians. And the examining doctors were Dr. Pradeep Acharya, Dr. Purnima Prabhu, Dr. S G Shanbhag, Dr. Vivek Pai & Dr. Vasant Shenoy.
The 1st prize was awarded to Baba Aaryash Prasad Charatkar as the Healthiest baby in Group 1.
In the second group, the first prize was awarded to Sharada R Todur. All participants were given toys and sweets as a token of participation.
Mrs. Gita R.Pai proposed a vote of thanks for the support given by Wadala mutt Ganeshotsav Committee, Ganeshotsav Volunteers, the entire staff of GSBS Medical Trust, the doctors, the sponsors and the
GSBS Mahila Shakha volunteers.
