GSBS Medical Trust is proud to announce that the Golden jubilee project PhysioCare – the Rehabilitation Centre was inaugurated on the auspicious day of Dassehra, it is an extension to the J. N. Wadia Medical Centre at Mahim. The chief guest for the opening ceremony was Kundapur Vaman Kamath, popularly known as K. V. Kamath, eminent personality & Chairman of Jio Financial Services.

President of the Medical Trust Dr. Suhas Prabhu said this Rehabilitation centre is basically to serve people who have lost their mobility after unfortunate events such as a stroke, heart attack, sports injuries, accidents etc. The basic motto of this initiative & service is to smoothly transition these patients from dependence to an independence stage.

Dr. Vimal Telang, a physiotherapist – the brainchild behind this noble initiative took the attendees through the functions of the different utility equipment, after the inauguration. It was amazing to see Mr. Kamath listening to all the explanation with rapt attention. Mr. Kamath was happy to do his SEVA in remembrance of his late wife Rajlaxmi Kamath.

Ageas Federal Insurance company executives Mr. Rajesh Ajgaonkar, Mr. Pavan Vyas and Mr. Arvind Shahi have created a hat trick by supporting the Medical Trust in all its difficult periods and now during the Golden jubilee year also. However small or big, each person’s service is laudable and the Trust feels immensely grateful for it.

With such utility equipment and facilities, this J. N. Wadia charitable dispensary has now become a high level service oriented GSBS Medical Centre.
