Tobacco Cessation Programme conducted at Ganesh Vidyamandir, Dharavi
GSBS Medical Trust successfully conducted yet another tobacco addiction awareness camp at Ganesh Vidyamandir, Dharavi on 14th October 2023. About 75 students of 8th, 9th & 10th standard English medium attended in the school premises.
They were briefed by Dr. Chhavi Korrane (Consultant Paedodontist at GSBS Medical Trust) on the different forms of tobacco and its ill-effects, through an audio-visual presentation. The session was very interactive as the students participated with enthusiasm.
Overall, this program was a success. We are thankful to the school principal and teachers for giving us the opportunity to conduct this programme.
