Spine Care Camp conducted successfully
A Spine Care Camp was conducted at J. N. Wadia Dispensary which is the Mahim Centre of G.S.B.S Medical Trust, on 23rd June 2024. A total of 31 patients attended this camp, which included tests such as BMD and Vitamin D, as well as consultations with an Orthopaedic surgeon and Physiotherapist.
Spine Surgeon Dr. Manoj Kumar Gaddikeri examined the patients & advised further course of treatment. This was followed by an audio-visual lecture on Back Care by the Head of Physiotherapy Dr. Vimal Telang & her team of Physiotherapists. Further, physiotherapists Dr. Anamika Gupte and Dr. Neha Abrol consulted the participants.
This lecture as well as consultation with a physiotherapist was held at PhysioCare unit of this Centre which is a new and exclusive department for Physiotherapy offering comprehensive physiotherapy services like Orthopaedic, Sports Injuries, Post Operative, Neurological, Vestibular, Paediatric, and Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy.
“Dependence to Independence” is the motto of this PhysioCare centre, which has the equipment / machinery needed by all branches of physiotherapy.
