Second Successful Spine Care Camp
GSBS Medical Trust conducted a second Spine Care camp on the 4th of June, 2023 at its Mahim centre – J. N. Wadia Dispensary. This camp was conducted in association with ALKEM (Bergen Nova). It was sponsored by Ms. Bharathi S. Kamath in memory of Late Shri V. S. Kamath.
A total of 61 persons with neck & back issues registered for this camp. The BMD & Vit D3 tests were done in association with ALKEM (Bergen Nova division).
Orthopaedic Surgeons Dr. Tej Shah (Fellow in Trauma and Joint Replacement Surgeries) and Dr. Rakesh Dhake (Spine Surgeon) were present for this camp, along with Physiotherapists Dr. Vimal Telang, Dr. Mansi Darji and Dr. Surabhi Agarwal. They attended to the patients while addressing all their concerns and queries.
Simultaneously information for awareness of Spine care during daily activities and occupation was presented in 4 batches by physiotherapists Dr. Vimal Telang (Specialist in NeuroPhysiotherapy), Dr. Mansi Darji (Specialist in Cardio-respiratory Physiotherapy) and Dr. Surabhi Agarwal (Specialist in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy).
Overall the Spine Care Camp was a big success. The next camp has been tentatively planned for Hip & Knee care in the month of September 2023. Details for the same will be shared on our website and social media platforms soon.
