Opening of Renovated Physiotherapy Department at Dadar Centre
GSBS Medical Trust has an exclusive physiotherapy department at its Unit No 1 at Dasturwadi, Dadar, which was recently renovated and has re-opened. GSBS Medical Trust believes in giving the best of equipment services to all its patients.
The fully renovated department was inaugurated on the 17th of January (after six weeks of closure) by the chief guests Dr. Ajit Gunjikar and Mrs. Jui Gunjikar. Dr. Gunjikar cut the ribbon as a mark of formal opening of the department with an auspicious coconut breaking and wished good progress to all the Physiotherapists. The senior physiotherapist Dr. Vimal Telang explained the usages of all equipments . She
explained how physiotherapy is best cure for body ailments and how fast the cure can happen. The guests attentively listened to all details with a lot of additional queries.
Dr. Suchitra said, “We are excited to introduce some fantastic equipments like the Combination Therapy unit, which has a combination of various therapeutic currents and ultrasound in one unit, permitting a variety of treatment options. We have also added a Theraband exercise wall station which can be used for strengthening and increasing joint range of motion. The additions of a mobilisation couch, traction table split type foam rollers, elastic exercise bands., fix bars etc. will enhance the treatment experience of patients. These new add-ons along with our previous equipment will allow for more targeted & effective rehabilitation and improve the quality of care we provide.”
The Physiotherapists Dr. Suchitra Somani, Dr. Chetana Shetty, Dr. Nivedita Ajgaonkar, Dr. Seema Mahale, Dr. Vidhi Dave are giving their services at this centre.
In appreciation of Dr. Gunjikar’s presence, Dr. Sandhya Kamath (Trustee) honoured him with a good luck plant. Smt. Gita Pai thanked the guests for inaugurating the centre. She appreciated the work done by Dr. Vimal Telang and thanked all the staff members for creating a beautiful environment for the occasion.
