Today marked a momentous occasion of great achievement for the GSBS Medical Trust with the inauguration of a much-needed sonography machine at its Dharavi Centre to enhance patient diagnosis.

The equipment was inaugurated by the generous donors from Federal Bank, with AGM Mr. Arun Raju and Dadar Branch Manager Mr. Devendra in attendance. The ceremony began with auspicious traditions, as Mr. Arun cut the ribbon and Mr. Devendra broke the coconut.

Dr. Satish Gaitonde, the sonologist, delivered an engaging and lucid explanation of the machine’s working mechanism and importance, making the technical details easily understandable for the non-doctor audience. Dr. Nutan Hegde performed a brief pooja for the machine, offering prayers to bless the centre and everyone working within it.

Mr. Kishor Acharya, COO of the Medical Trust, shared the background efforts involved in successfully procuring and installing the equipment. Smt. Gita R. Pai, Trustee, then guided the guests on a tour of the facility, outlining the growth of the GSBS Medical Trust leading up to its Golden Jubilee Year, and expressed her sincere gratitude to all employees dedicated to the centre’s success.
