The President and other Trustees were delighted to have Mr. Vivek Kamath, Director and Mr. Awaneesh Srivastava, President & Company Secretary of Garware for the inauguration of the Eye Unit Donated by Garware trust.

The inauguration took place on Monday the 14th of April, at the registered office of the Medical Trust at its Dadar Unit. As the tradition goes, after prayers to Lord Ganapati, Dr. Suhas Prabhu, President of
GSBS Medical Trust escorted the guests to the inauguration room. The Newly purchased Appasamy Associates Pvt. Ltd. and Mash Opticare Eye unit, the Slit Lamp, Auto Refractometer, Retinoscope and Opthalmoscope were all inaugurated by a simple ribbon cutting ceremony, by the guests. Dr. Ankita Kulkarni & Dr. Kanchan Nayak, the Opthalmologists who were present, explained the working of the machines.

It was very interesting to listen to Mr. Srivastava about Garware’s activities all over the world. Trustees Mr. Ganesh Shanbhag and Mrs. Sandhya Kamath were present. Smt. Gita Pai thanked the guests
for their presence and thanked Garware Company for their generosity.
